ENERGY CONSUMPTION AND ITS IMPACTS

ENERGY CONSUMPTION AND ITS IMPACTS

Energy consumption brings with it some problems. These are;
Economic costs
Environmental impacts
Resource depletion
As it has become inevitable to take measures against environmental problems, especially global climate change caused by the increase in carbon emissions under the umbrella of the United Nations (UN), the World States are evaluating and taking decisions on measures such as increasing efficiency in the use of energy resources and energy, limiting emissions, and establishing energy systems based on renewable resources.

OUR ACTIVITIES

01.Energy Studies: It is aimed to reveal the possibilities for increasing energy efficiency in enterprises, to evaluate the potential of recovery of waste energy, to reveal the energy production potential based on renewable resources, and finally to reduce the burden of energy costs on enterprises by conducting studies. In order to determine the savings potential in order to reveal the opportunities that will provide efficiency, calculations are made on the basis of the information collected through examinations and measurements in the enterprises, and the issues related to the measures/investments that will increase the efficiency are evaluated with their technical and financial dimensions and reported.

Within the scope of the studies, the following study profiles are handled on an annual basis. to determine measures to increase energy efficiency and their benefits and costs.

  • Input Profile
  • Waste Profile
  • Loss-Leakage Profile
  • Inefficiency Profile
  • Waste Profile
  • Emission Profile
  • Energy Management Profile

Some examinations and measurements made within the scope of energy audit are as follows.

  • Process Analysis
  • Tariff Analysis,
  • Fuel analysis; Coal and Natural Gas
  • electrical installation inspection
  • Transformer/Compensation Measurements
  • Electrical power draws and power quality analysis,
  • Heating system; Boiler, Heat pump measurements
  • Cooling System: Mechanical/Abs Chiller, , Vrf, Vrv systems
  • Ventilation Systems; Air handling units
  • Compressed Air Systems
  • Steam Systems
  • Pump Systems
  • engines; Elevators, pump motors…
  • Indoor Air Quality
  • Lighting Measurement
  • Flue Gas Measurements and Analysis,
  • Waste analysis
  • Thermal Insulation; Control of buildings or installations.
  • automation system; Examination of set values and scenarios, control of sensor elements.
  1. Energy Efficiency Consultancy Service: Very important professional support is provided by taking part in the processes of analyzing, measuring, evaluating and developing recommendations for new energy efficiency systems to be installed in enterprises and for investment projects envisaged on existing systems.
  2. 03. Energy Manager Assignment: Appointed persons carry out activities within the scope of legal legislation on energy management in industrial enterprises and buildings.
  3. Issuance of an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC): This document includes information on the energy needs and energy consumption classification of buildings, lighting, insulation features and efficiency of heating and/or cooling systems.
  4. 05. Preparation of Efficiency Improvement Project (PEIP): Projects are prepared to prevent or minimize unnecessary energy use, waste energy, energy losses and leakages, and recovery of waste energy through the use of energy efficient equipment and systems, repair, insulation, modification, rehabilitation and process adjustment.
